Removing PSA/BGS Grading?

I couldn't decide where to post this so feel free to relocate it elsewhere if this is an inappropriate place, but...

Has anyone ever tried removing PSA/BGS grading? I've got a few items I purchased on eBay that were graded and the grades don't increase their value by much and I'm more interested in having them in a standardized display arrangement.

Obviously it couldn't be done without permanently damaging the case, but could it be done without permanently damaging the card?

PSA is a lot easier to remove the cards than BGS. PSA requires a small screwdriver to pry at the extreme edges at the center of the two combined plastic halves. BGS would require a cutting off of the top above the card and very careful prying of the two halves. Practice on some cards of little value before going after the good cards.
