June TR “Pack-Pulled” Card of the Month (Enter Now)

Here is yet another TR program designed for YOU to showoff your high end "pack-pulled" card. I will receive entries until 27 May; then I (with the help of the TR staff) will spotlight a TR member's MOJO pull. This is open to all pack busters including nonsport collectors. If you buy packs at a local card shop, be sure to show your support by including the name of the shop and possibly a picture with the shop owner with you and the card. Below is the list of questions I would like to see answered along with your submission. Good luck!

My name is Michael, I´m from Mönchengladbach, Germany, if you are into soccer, you probably heard of Borussia Mönchengladbach or "the Fohlenelf", their nickname from the earkly seventies.

My pull of the month and the story behind it.

Won 2 boxes 05/06 Topps First Row from Dave & Adams on Marcht 8th and paypaled seller same day, had to add around 26 $$ for overseas express mail shipping to Germany.

On March 16th I received an email, telling me that popsitive feedback has been left and item shipped. I waited around 2 or 3 weeks but nothing happened.

I contacted them and asked for a trtacking number, they told me not to worry, it could take up to 6 (SIX !!) weeks from the USA to Germany despite the information on usps.com, that it takes around 6-10 days only.

NO tracking number.


After 8 weeks I contacted ebay and filed a complaint (buyer protection). After ebay contacted Dave & Adams, I was told that item has been send March 19th........mhhhhhhhmmm.

I finally received the package May 12th, plus 2 moth after I paypaled the seller, the box was postmarked March 20th.

I have to say, despite their good reputation, I will not buy freom them again.

While attending a local card show, I spotted this box of 04 Fleer Platinum. While reading the ads on the outside of the box I noticed that it was a box of "rack" packs, and it said that there was an auto in each of the four rack pack inside. The vendor that I bought it from does most of the local shows, but does not have a shop. Anyway, he wanted $65 for the box, and I thought I would take a chance (who know, I might get a good auto out of it). He had two boxes, and I selected the bottom. When I got home and started ripping the packs, here is what I found; 1st rack pack Marlon Byrd Auto; 2nd - Delmon Young Auto; 3rd - Delmon Young (oh well, they book for $25), and the 4th - Link (incase the photo does not come through):
