Default Football Beckett?
Anyone have the new Beckett Football? I have not received mine yet and was wondering if it had a story about the Sage design contest in it? I heard that it has a picture of the Brady Quinn from my set.

Thanks Frank,
I read on another message board that the new issue was released yesterday and it has a preview of 2007 Sage Hit with a picture of the Quinn Playmakers card, so I was just wondering if it mentioned anything about the contest.

I looked for the new issue today but couldn't find one in my area yet.

no, I noticed the release date for the 07 Hit is April 16th, so I was expecting to get it around that time. I am really excited to see the cards in person.

got it today, and it has a pic of the Quinn auto'd version.

In the write-up, it says:

There are 60 Playmakers cards that tie into the base set. There is a silver level and a Gold Autograph level (#'d to 100). This insert was designed by the winning collector of the Design a Card Contest.

Does anyone know if there will be more about the contest in a future issue? There was no mention of Trader Retreat in the Hit preview in the April issue. Trader Retreat deserves some more recognition for this great contest.

btw, 2 more days until the release!

I am totally impressed. What an honor it must be to have your artistic ability rewarded! It's too bad you don't get a cut of the proffits...LOL. Great Job, and I will be sure to buy a box and have you autograph one of your masterpieces...for my personal collection! Congrats! Who won it last year?

Looks like they delayed the release until the 27th, and here is a high resolution image of the Brady Quinn from the set.
