A policy change in regards to bad traders..

Trader Retreat is proud to announce that we have taken steps to help ensure that our members are the safest of any website. Thanks to the hard work and diligent effort of Grid, TR has been working in cooperation with several of the larger sports card trading sites. We have all agreed to exchange information regarding those traders of a more devious nature. We are doing everything that we can to keep internet thieves from infesting TR and now the hobby of internet trading. We plan on using the shared information from this day forward. No longer will traders jump from site to site to take advantage of unfamiliarity. We will use the knowledge shared with other sites to deny membership. Also, we will use this knowledge to keep good traders informed of members who may have troubles on other sites. No longer will the excuse "Well that happened on ...." be acceptable. I am very proud of Grid and leaders of the other websites in this cooperative agreement for coming together to face a problem that all sportscard trading sites suffer from. Keeping our membership safe has always been the number one priority at TR.

Thanks go to Grid and TeamKansas for being apart of this group. This bad traders group is filled pretty much as a who's who in the boards Admin/mods.
Remember information is our biggest allie in fighting to keep this hobby safe and fun for all. As a member of the group let it be known, we do not unjustly rule over members with problems. This is for those who do not live up to their end of ANY agreement here or others.

With that said, please do not post anything on the open boards about any suspected bad traders! If you know of anyone you'd like to report we deal with facts! Nothing else. Please remember that before you report anyone. Just PM the information to a staff member.

Thanks go out to those other sites that have joined forces for the greater good of the hobby!

Sounds good, now I just hope Sportscardforum doesn't try saying bad things about me, since I was banned over there. (Told off a mod who was abuse and said offensive things to me, following a suspension from their betting forums. Had 100% feedback on 50+ transactions)

Quick question Im also a member on another site much smaller then this one where two members have just been banned do you guys want that info as well?

Usually when someone is banned from sites that are in this group, its posted on a special forum then that URL to the forum is sent out via an email group on yahoo groups. Each sites current rep is responsible for checking out the reports and finding out if said members are on their site.

lol im banned on almost every site because of stuff like that!
