Default Grading question

I would like to know if this card is worth getting graded by PSA. There are NO creases or wrinkles on the card. Here are some pictures:

I would say no.. centering is an issue top to bottom.. the corners look a bit soft... there is chippin on the red border on the back.. and the magic answer thing has been scratched.. I think you are looking at a psa 4-5

I have never been a big fan of grading. If it is a card you are not looking to get rid of, throw it in a screw down and enjoy it. Your Brown may not be perfect, but it's still a great vintage piece most collectors wouldn't mind having in there PC.

Thanks, Frank. I don't know much about vintage and wasn't sure.

How much do they take off for the magic answer being scratched off?

Honestly I am just guessing. Withy your centering issues you are basically starting off with an 8. Then I figured the chipping and corners you would be down to a 5-6. Then I figured the scratch off would knock you down 1 grade as well.

If you're just looking to get it protected and keep it for your collection; by all means get it graded. If you're looking at resell down the road...then don't bother with grading.
