1st ever...The Mystery Envelope Game!!!

Hey all, I had this idea for a game and I thought it would be sweet to play and would really promote trading. If you want to play read the rules and let me know. Signup deadline will be the end of the day next Friday June 30th. The game will start Saturday July 1st. Tell all your friends about this!

The Mystery Envelope Game Rules
1. Everyone must submit to me, via PM, the name of one card in your baseball/basketball/football collection valuing approximately $20-$25 BV (or more if you wish but only 20-25 is required), for approval. Preferably this is a nice RC or GU or auto or vintage. And please let's try to get some nice cards in this contest. No Michael Bennett or Tim Salmon GU allowed if you catch my drift.
2. Once approved, this card becomes your entry to the game.
3. All partcipants' entries will be posted in a published list prior to game start for all to see.
4. Once you and your card are entered, we will wait til the signup deadline expires before starting the game.
5. When all participants are signed up and approved, then the game will begin.
6. Order of who picks first will be simply the order in which participants signed up to the game.
7. All "entered" cards, will be written down on a separate index card and placed in sealed numbered envelopes.
8. All participants will be told which envelope their card is in prior to the game starting but this will be known only to the owners of each card.
9. The person picking first can pick ANY ONE of the sealed envelopes - participants ARE allowed to pick their own envelope, if they want.
10. Once he/she chooses, the envelope is opened, and his/her selection will be posted to the message thread for all to see.
11. That card is now temporarily in the possession of who selected it.
12. The next chooser then has a choice. He/she can pick any unopened envelope OR he/she can pick any card already revealed, if that revealed card is still "active".
13. Cards become "inactive" immediately once they are chosen for the 3rd time after being initially opened. So that means it is opened from its sealed envelope, and then someone can select it once, twice, and then a third time. We'll denote a card's status by using the "strikes" analogy. 3 strikes and it becomes inactive.
14. After it is chosen for the third time, the card becomes "inactive" and is now permanently owned by the last person choosing it, ending the chooser's participation in the game.
15. The game continues as people either pick opened cards or sealed envelopes. When it is a person's turn, they are allowed to "pass" if they are happy with the card they currently are in possession of.
16. The game ends when all cards become inactive or an entire round ends with everyone passing.
17. Note, it is possible to end up with your original card in the end.
18. When the game is over, all original owners of entered cards arrange to send their card to their new owners.
19. All cards won in this contest are NOT apply-able to TR Trade Reimbursement Rules, however all non-senders will be suspended/banned from further trading until their end is sent.
20. All gameplay will be do***ented on this TR message board thread for all to see, even non-participants.
21. Delay Rule - If any participant delays the game (doesn't pick) within a 24 hr period, then I have the right to choose an item/envelope for them, to speed gameplay along. We don't want this game to take months to play.

FYI
There is no real advantage to picking last, first, or in the middle. Unless of course if a perceived, great card is opened early, then picking last does have a disadvantage as the card might be gone b4 you even get a chance to pick it. However, when picking last, you'll have the choice of knowing what you get or picking an envelope nobody has chosen yet. Furthermore, for anyone wondering, I'll have my wife make the envelopes, that way, since I'm playing, I'll have no knowlege of what cards are in what envelope.
