What's the better deal in this trade?
Knowing how I am a die hard Mark Brunell collector, what would be better to have:
1999 Score Inscriptions AUTO Jim Brown BV$80

OR
2002 Crown Royale Triple Threads GOLD (#/25) Smith, Taylor and BRUNELL BV???

Different serial number, but same card as above.
----------------
1. So what's the better choice, and
2. What's a fair BV (trade value) on the Triple Threads since it's "too scarce" to book. In the 4 years, since the Triple Threads was released I've only seen 2 or 3 ever offered on ebay!!!! The regular Triple Threads (with a print run of 355) is BV$20.
Opinions appreciated - thanks

I would rather have the Brown, but I'm not a Brunell collector. But, Brown auto's aren't hard to find, so if that was a nice Steeler triple thread I would probably go with the 3 jersey card.

Yeah...if it was the Zereoue one (I just got my third from you ) I would still go with the player you collect, and I'd rather take another Zereoue triple #/25. They are hard to get, I've picked up every Zereoue one from this set I've seen, and I've only seen 3...
So if that made no sense...go with the Brunell.
The inscriptions were always one of my fav. auto cards, and that is sweet looking...but you have a better chance of finding that again

Exactly - Much easier for you to pick up another Brown auto on Ebay. What are the odds of finding a triple GU Jsy of someone you collect religiously.

I don't collect football. However, I do know that JIM BROWN was the GREATEST running back of his time (if not for all time). He is also a HOFer.
I'd go with it, especially if I didn't already have a BROWN AUTO. If you've got a BROWN AUTO, then go with who/what you need for your collection.
Just my 2 cents worth. Have a good day, Rodney

I am personally biased towards autographs, and thats a real nice auto. You could get a Brown easily... but it'd probably be a sticker autograph

Thanks for the input, for some reason this was a really hard decision to make. BUT In the end, I traded a piece of my Personal Collection, the Triple Threads, for the Brown because it was helping out a fellow "hardcore" Jimmy Smith collector. Hope he joins the site some day...Highlighted in his collection are 31 #1/1 and 19 printing plates of Smith! Now that's a super player collector!

Well, as long as you still have one for your collection...that sounds like a good deal (those are my fav. auto design that i can think of - the pinnacle and score inscriptions - so nice pick-up); for you get a nice card, and help out a collector, even though you part ways with a nice Brunell.
