Tradepage My Card Inventory

Exclamation Puzzling card...

Hi,

I have the following card from Reggie Miller:

1998 UD Encore #34

When I looked at the card closer, I realized is has a Game Dated stamp on the front of the card. I can't find a listing under Beckett since it isn't #ed like the FX inserts. I assume the regular card was without the Game Dated stamp and text under "Encore".

Help! Is this a misprint or a "common"?

Thanks,
Marlies

Sounds like the same common confession about those "game dated" cards in Football. I believe from just the way you described it as the regular base card which do have the "game date" on it. The "game date" parallel is a card that is 100% foil (or whatever that technology is called) front.

I forgot to mention that the card I have is foiled as well. It has a dark "film" over it. The only thing missing is a #ed back. Strange..

It's foiled because its from Encore. That entire set was foiled.
The 1:1000 parallel, if i remember correctly, was only seeded into regular UD

Hmmm. I wonder what the 98 Encore ones that are not foiled then are since I have a few of those as well??
