Anybody heard of a SF Giants Pitcher names Matt Cain???
Yesterday, I opened 2 ugly 05 Ultimate Collection baseball packs. The 1 card is a Matt cain- Young Stars materials- Matt Cain auto/jersey # 13/20. Who is he and is he any good or just another pud player? Thanks in advance, Todd

He's the best pitching prospect for the Giants. He's only 21 years old and made his debut last year with the Giants. He is slated to be on the 5 man starting rotation for 2006. Here's his stats for 2005 with the Giants:
W=2 L=1 ERA 2.33 Innings 46 1/3 Earned Runs 12 Hits 24 SO 30 BB 19 I had the good fortune of getting his autograph at the Giants fanfest a couple of weeks ago.
