TR Upgrade Coming Soon

Sometime over the next two weeks TR will be upgraded. The upgrade will take a few hours and we will schedule it during a non-peak time. This upgrade is critical in keeping the software current to prevent security holes and add some great new features. You likely noticed several sports card communities hacked over the past few months!

The new benefits will include:

• A more secure TR
• User Galleries - we will still have the site gallery, but each member will have thier own gallery in their profile. Like having a Photobucket in your profile!
• User Created Social Groups - Collect specific player? Creat a group dedicated to that player and let others join. The group will have its own message board.
• Custom profiles - Members will be able to select backgrounds for their profiles. They can change colors or post a background image. Attached is an example if what a new profile may look like.
• Thread Prefixing - having forced thread prefixes that will help identify exactly what the thread is about. For instance, in the trading forum we can force members to select from the following options; buying, selling, trading, for sale/trade, etc. This will allow members to go into a forum and see ONLY the type of threads. For instance, they can make it so they only see threads that have cards for sale, etc.
• Thread Tagging - members can add key words to their thread. This will allow members to click on key words and see all threads associsated with that key word. For instance, if their are 10 threads with the "Ladainian Tomlinson" tag, you can click on that tag and see all 10 threads.
• Public Message - members can post messages in other members profiles.
• And more!
