Press Pass® VIP 2007 Delivers the Deepest Memorabilia Roster in the Brand’s 14 Year History

Charlotte, N.C. – Press Pass VIP returns in 2007 with an upscale 90-card base set that focuses exclusively on the drivers in NASCAR’s top series. Press Pass VIP is printed on premium 24-point stock with photography that captures the season’s hottest action along with a behind the scenes look at how some of the sport’s finest travel with such new subsets as VIP Rides and Air NASCAR. The most impressive change to Press Pass VIP 2007 is to the memorabilia program, which gets revamped with two new memorabilia cards and an expanded roster that includes more NNCS drivers than ever before.

For the first time ever, race-used glove cards will be part of the Press Pass VIP line-up. The all new Get A Grip memorabilia cards feature a swatch of glove from 26 talented NASCAR stars including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Juan Pablo Montoya, and Tony Stewart. Pedal to the Metal is also another new addition to the memorabilia roster, pairing race-used shoes with sheet metal to create an exciting new memorabilia card that’s built for speed. After a successful debut in 2006, collectors can once again find exclusive rookie memorabilia in Press Pass VIP 2007 with Rookie Stripes. These race-used memorabilia cards feature pieces of the yellow tape that all drivers competing for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors are required to have on their bumper. With a rookie class that includes such talented stars as Juan Pablo Montoya, David Ragan, and Paul Menard, these cards are sure to be a hit. Combined odds for all memorabilia cards are 1:40 hobby and 1:112 retail. Collectors can also look for autographed versions of their favorite memorabilia cards with Signature Series Get A Grip (numbered to each driver’s door number) and Rookie Stripes Autographs (numbered to 25).

The Press Pass Signings autograph program returns to Press Pass VIP 2007 with three distinct levels showcasing dozens of NASCAR personalities including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, and Kasey Kahne (1:40 hobby, 1:96 retail). Also look for rare Press Plate Autographs featuring the four printing plates from each driver’s Press Pass Signings cards.
