Sports Card Alliance - Taking it to the next Level!

I would like to introduce Sports Card Alliance to everyone!

What is Sports Card Alliance?
On the main page you will notice feeds coming in from sportscardforum.com, traderretreat.com and sportstradercentral.com. As post occur on these sites they are automatically fed into sportscardalliance.com's Power Feeder. When you first visit the site ALL feeds will come in. During peak times the feeds will come in fast and furious, especially as more sites get added.

Registered users get to have "Favorite Feeds". This will allow you to customize what feeds you wish to see. If you are a Hockey collector you can make it so just Hockey posts feed in. You can even be as specific to what hockey posts feed in!

It is important to note that members can NOT start or reply to threads. You are simply viewing information from other sites and being redirected to the site with the thread that interests you. While there is a forum and I recommend you check it out, the forum will be used for visitors to see news and information. The Flash Rotator at the top of the forum will also show you what sites are in the Sports Card Alliance.

Why Sports Card Alliance?
I know card collectors are members of several different site. This allows you to view threads and go to the site with the threads that interest you. This cuts down the time you waste going to each site and reading through the threads. While I know you are loyal to TR, this allows you to see a broad variety of threads and allows you to specify the threads you want to see.

Another VERY important feature are the moderator private forums. In these forums moderators, admins and advisers form other sites will get together with the intent on improving the hobby, fighting bad traders and destroying spammers on all sites. This is a true coalition of the willing!

How do I create my Favorite Feeds?
As a visitor you can de-select the categories you do NOT want feeding in. The feeds will eventually update. The better way is to register with the site and then click on the "favorites" at the top left of the feeds. Simply use the CTRL or SHIFT keys on your keyboard to select multiple feeds. Click submit and you are done! When you visit Sports Card Alliance you will ONLY see the feeds you have selected.

Future Features
Sports Card Alliance is brand new and is only about 25% done. My goal over the next few months is:

• MySpace style profiles for each user.
• Each User profile will had their feedback feed in from ALL sites they are a member of. Your feedback scores from TR, SCF, STC and other sites will feed right in!
• Have 10+ forums feeding in. The ultimate goal is to get Beckett and Topps forums as well!
• Have the ultimate bad trader database. When a bad trader rips of a member on one site, he will be banned on ALL sites
• Have the ultimate spam database. When a spammer is banned on one site he is banned on ALL sites
• Much more!
