The Soul Society expansion set presents an all new design template set on 142 game-breaking new cards and introduces the first subset rarity cards for the Bleach TCG, featuring some of the most fearsome squad captains and lieutenants that stand between Ichigo and friends. In addition to the ten new subset cards, there are 42 commons, 36 uncommons, 30 rares, 2 ultra rares, 10 alternate art promos and 12 promo high-tech cards. This second set also brings four new playable guardian cards to the table, expanding the number of different ways you can play the game.

(PressZoom) - July 23, 2007 ( Arlington, TX ) – Score Entertainment, a leading manufacturer of premium trading card games, is gearing up to take fans of the popular new Bleach™ TCG to the Soul Society, the follow-up to its popular Premiere Set.

The Soul Society expansion set presents an all new design template set on 142 game-breaking new cards and introduces the first subset rarity cards for the Bleach TCG, featuring some of the most fearsome squad captains and lieutenants that stand between Ichigo and friends. In addition to the ten new subset cards, there are 42 commons, 36 uncommons, 30 rares, 2 ultra rares, 10 alternate art promos and 12 promo high-tech cards. This second set also brings four new playable guardian cards to the table, expanding the number of different ways you can play the game.

Each pack of cards has a suggested retail price of $3.29 and contains ten random game cards ( one rare, three uncommons and six commons ), plus all new tip cards including a nine-card Bleach puzzle mural and a handy reference card to identify all the new squad symbols featured on the Soul Reaper characters.

The cards in this expansion focus on the time from when Ichigo undergoes his harsh training under Kisuke Urahara up until the climactic battle with Renji. This set introduces some of the many friends and adversaries Ichigo encounters, such as Ganju, Hanataro, Gin and Kenpachi as well as returning favorites Rukia, Chad, Orihime and Uryu.

The release of Bleach TCG Soul Society cards coincides with the release of Toynami's second series action figures, featuring Chad and Orihime. These figures will include red versions of the HT guardian card that match the character it comes with. These promo cards can only be found in Toynami figures, sold at Walden/Borders Books Store, Hastings, Suncoast Video, Hot Topic and finer collectible Comic Book retailers.
