The First Upper Deck Football Release of the Year is Loaded with Rookies



Carlsbad, CA – (June 18, 2007) – Collectors have been chomping at the bit for 2007 Football cards since the draft took place back in late April. They are quickly finding that 2007 Upper Deck Artifacts Football delivers just that, as hobby boxes feature one rookie card in every other pack on average.



This is the first chance to find Upper Deck rookie cards of players like JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, Ted Ginn Jr., Dwayne Jarrett and Troy Smith. Additionally 2007 Upper Deck Artifacts Football also gives collectors the first chance to obtain autographs from these highly anticipated rookies.



Artifacts is not without its share of super stars and high end inserts as well. League MVP LaDanian Tomlinson and Super Bowl Champions Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison are just some of the players lending their signatures to the set. There are plenty of high end chase cards included as well with patch cards, NFL logo cards and patch logo cards numbered to 50 or less randomly inserted throughout the product. Additionally, next week Upper Deck will be announcing Short Print information on limited rookies and autographs in the set.



“I think what really makes this set great is that is has something for everyone,” said Steven Judd, Football Product Manager for Upper Deck. “The casual collector can spend around $10 a pack and get some very good value and for the larger collectors that open up multiple boxes and cases, they have plenty to chase. Upper Deck Reveals 2007 Artifacts Football Short Prints



Carlsbad, CA – (June 20, 2007) – Upper Deck today has confirmed the existence of short print cards in 2007 Artifacts Football. In the base set, rookie cards from 151-200 are short printed and more rare than the low numbered rookies from 101-150. Some of the more well known short printed rookies include Adrian Peterson, Brady Quinn, Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Jarrett, JaMarcus Russell, Marshawn Lynch and Ted Ginn Jr. These high numbered rookies in the series are slated to fall approximately 1:box. 2007 Artifacts Football released June 13 and each four-card pack has a suggested retail price of $9.99.
