TR under new ownership!

Trader Retreat has been sold. I'm the new owner and would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Silvia and I'm an active duty Air Force guy. I have been collecting sports card for years and love sport card communities. I would like to thank Frank for making this sale very easy. He is one of the classiest guys to deal with and is a true asset to the hobby. Frank and I will work together in the future on future ventures.

One of my first priorities is for members to get to know me. Many of you already do and will remember me as the former General Manager from SCS (Bobobag).

I will move TR to a powerful dedicated server and work on a cleaner, less bandwidth intensive skin to speed up the forum. This should be done by next week at the latest. There should be no down time. If there is I will notify everyone.

I look forward to chatting and trading with all the fantastic TR members!

Welcome to TR, Mike. Looking forward to working with you and seeing your great ideas put into place.

I also want to thank Frank and Ree for the blood, sweat and tears (not to mention money) they put into this site to make it what it is today. I hope you are and will continue to be happy with the efforts of the staff and the new ownership/management and that the site will continue in the direction you put it in.

I hope Ree and Frank stick around in some capacity. I will be helping them work on a site just like SCI and we will be affiliates to help each other out. There are few people like Frank in the hobby and you just know he will continue to be involved in the hobby.
