TR Fantasy Football Keeper League

Ok everyone, I attempted to get one of these going last year, it's time to give it another go this year. I'm looking for 9 TR members to fill this league. I'm going to bring the entry fee down to a $50 auto to start. It will be an email draft and I'd like to get it going shortly. We'll use Yahoo to host the league this year, if everything goes well, I will purchase a league next year to accomodate to our needs and keep rosters from year to year without having to re enter. Now remember, this will be a keeper league, we will draft a roster this year of around 26 players (still flirting with the specifics), we will cut down to 16 at the end of the year (also not set in stone). There will be a supplementary draft in the middle of the year, there will be no other way for teams to pick up players. I'll get the rules posted up when I get 10 members. I need 9 members who are going to keep with it from year to year, I don't want any turnovers if possible, so I'm looking for very serious members.

I am interested, but don't currently have a $50 FB auto. Can put up $25 cash. Also would like to see less keepers, 16 sounds very high.

Let me clear some items up just in case anyone is hesitant to sign up.

1. I can't take cash as an entry. If you don't have an entry auto at the moment, that is fine. Let me know and keep me informed.

2. My main goal is to get 10 quality coaches to make this a competitive league. I am willing to back this league up with money out of my own pocket to get a site set up that will accomodate our needs. So, along with my entry fee, I'll be quite invested in this league. I'm looking for 9 other individuals that are serious enough for me to invest my time and money into.

3. Since this is just a test year, as long as the auto is a $50 auto, I am cool with it. I'm sure there are $50 Ryan Leaf autos out there, so if your looking to dump them in the pool, now's the time. But keep this in mind, after this year, there will be quality entrys into the pool. That includes mine as well. So if your hesitant about getting in because you won't ever see anything you would want in the pool, that will not be the case.

4. None of the rules are set in stone yet, but they are pretty close. I am open to suggestions, but keep in mind, this is a Keeper league, I know it isn't for everyone. Redraft leagues are a dime a dozen, you can jump on any number of leagues over on Yahoo. A keeper league is tough to come by, especially one starting from the ground floor. Basically, every year we draft, it will be a rookie draft, most veterans will be already taken. There will be some serious football knowledge being used to win, that's what I'm looking for.

Hi, Just to update, still interested, but will be on vacation from July 22-29th, may still have access, but just in case I am not, I will be back after that in case the league gets finalized, and draft starts. Moss, maybe this should be posted in the Let the Games Begin Folder as well if it hasn't yet.
