Why is the staff multiple mass e-mailing me?

When there are notices sent to members of HC (for upgrades,charity drives,etc.),why am I getting mailed 2,3 and 4 times about the same notice from the same person? I don't mind the mass mailing and appreciate the updates and such but why are they being sent more than once? I don't see a need to send them but once instead of filling our mailboxes.

No disrespect intended,but it is annoying to get mass mailed multiple times about the same thing.Is there anything I need to do in my profile or something to only get these type e-mails once?

There is a problem with the mailings on our current server - Sometimes they error out while, appearing to send none, when they send maybe a 100 or so. Hopefully when we move servers tonight that will fix the problem. I apologize for the problem.
