Feedback needed for the Weekly Contest..... PLEASE!!

We here at TR love to give away cards in contests such as this but we would really like it to generate some trading traffic. Since 5/5/06 there have been a total of 84 posts/replies in the NASCAR forum. Thats not the bad part in fact I would be pleased if they were all about trading or Nascar in general. But a grand total of 2 (2.3%) were about trading. The other 98%?? You guessed it ... Contests!!! So with that lil rant said I have decided to put the following stipulation on the weekly contest.

For the Weekly Contest winner to be eliglable for any prizes they must have 3 quality posts/replies in the Nascar Forum.

Please if you have any questions or concerns about this stipulation please don't hesitate to reply here or send me a PM.

I would like to second this stipulation. I am trying to generate more traffic here in our Nascar forum so please post your want and trade list's.

If anyone just happen's to pass by they are more likely to join when they see people taking part in the forum.

Also look for a huge (and I mean HUGE) contest to happen here within the next few months.

now are these just trading posts or posts in general??

I am a HUGE nascar fan......patonyfan....is Pennsylvania Tony Stewart fan. But when my wife had our second child i sold off all of my NASCAR cards. I had all but 35-40 stewart cards ever made.

I no longer have any wants in NASCAR or cards to trade but enjoy the contests like these

I'd like to make some trading post on here but there's no where to buy nascar cards around where I live. I only buy football and a few baseball of guys I collect on e-bay.

It doesn't just have to be a trade or wantlist. It can be general talk and info about Nascar, as long as it is a quality post, it's fine.

I would like to add that the Nascar contest I have coming up will require at least one trade involving Nascar items. I am still working out all the details.

We certainly appreciate everyone's understanding of what we're trying to do here. This will take effect with this weeks race and hopefully we don't have to police this very hard.
