I've been to the Nextel All-Star Challenge the past 2 years...and I am unable to go this year...even had the tix. %!^%#$!

(I was called by my Godfather yesterday - I go with him and my cousins, and we meet up with this group of like 50+ people - but I thought it was next weekend, and I just started Summer work yesterday, and can't skip tomorrow to go...tears

)

Well, atleast I don't have a 10 or so hour drive in an RV to get there...I'm still cryin on the inside

HOWEVER, I GET TO GO TO MY FIRST CARD SHOW (ON SATURDAY - ROBERT MORRIS U.) SINCE THE 2004 NATIONALS IN CLEVELAND!!! WOOHOO
- i guess with every action, there is an equal and opposite whatever...

Hey thats a nice show.. I have never been there but I hear its great and they usually have a nice autograph signers list

Yeah, it's real fun. Theres like 4 races that weekend, (atleast 2 poles)...

i havent gotten an auto there, but they do have a good line up. clint bowyer was the person i wanted the most last year, cause i bought a jack daniels flask, and wanted him to sign it...

o, and you can tour Roush racing, and one other place (i forget) and at their shops, you can buy parts from the raced cars (damged sheet metal or whatever), and used tires, used lug nuts, etc.

pretty sweet atmosphere...i am now bummed out again thinking about this

I used to go to Charlotte every year for the 600, 2003 was the last year i went. Got a Stewart autograph and free 3 doors down cd when they revealed the 3 doors down car.

My brother decided to go this year and take my sister instead of asking me....bummer. He ended up catching a hat that some country singer threw out during the taping of trackside

too bad you couldn't go. that is pretty neat that your bro caught that hat, though!
