Matt Kenseth. Partially because I am from Wisconsin but also because he seems to be a great guy. I had the opportunity to meet him this past year at his Fan Club/Museum in Cambridge, WI where he is from. He was doing an autograph signing. It was about -50 degrees outside and only 100 or so people showed up. Everyone actually got to go through the line as much as they wanted and he signed everything. His son Ross was also there along with his dad. His sister actually runs the whole place and I was talking to her before the he got there. He still makes time in his busy schedule to come back to Slinger, WI for the Slinger Nationals and race late models on the world's fastest quarter mile oval. He is a consistent driver, he doesn't make excuses for his short comings and just goes out and drives. This is why Matt is #1 for me.

I followed Earnhardt Sr. in his last few years when he was not winning so much, I don't really follow anyone racer now but sorta root and check in on those I have met like Kenseth, Stewart, Busch, Edwards, and a few others. For me it is sorta root for everyone to beat Gordon

My favorite driver is: Brad Keselowski.
Keselowski is my favorite, because I was always an Earnhardt fan, then an Earnhardt Jr fan, then a JR Motorsports fan. I saw his career take off in mid 2008 - two weeks before his first NNS win @ Nashville. After he won Bristol in late 2008, he was my favorite. His driving style, and personality did it for me.

Dick Trickle. Ever since ESPN, no matter where he finished, would mention his name.
