Default Brodeur gets #500

Brodeur just picked up his 500th win in a season that he's thuss far played well below the standard of play he's set in past years. With no defence in front of him, how many more games do you think he'll win this year? And how long till he passes Patrick Roy on the all-time wins list?

What a great goalie...losing Brian Rafalski on the D-line hurts a bit. NJ is still a team to contend with and will be fine by the time playoffs hit. I still see Marty getting 35 to 40 wins. He won't be too far off from passing Roy--as long as Brodeur stays healthy he will have the all time record for wins.

2 more seasons, and that's only because he's got it easy in these "Overtime/Shootout win" days, LOL.

I can agree that he's a great goalie and that he's going to break the record but i don't realistically see him winning 35-40 games this year or jersey making it to the playoffs. There's too many talented squads in the Eastern conference. This devils team has played better in front of kevin weekes this year than they have in from of brodeur. it's sad, this team just hasn't come out to play in front of a guy who will possibly be the best goalie of all time by the time his career's all said and done. Zach Parise remains the only other bright spot on this team, i say brodeur ends up with maybe 30-33 wins this year.
