A policy change in regards to bad traders..

Trader Retreat is proud to announce that we have taken steps to help ensure that our members are the safest of any website. Thanks to the hard work and diligent effort of Grid, TR has been working in cooperation with several of the larger sports card trading sites. We have all agreed to exchange information regarding those traders of a more devious nature. We are doing everything that we can to keep internet thieves from infesting TR and now the hobby of internet trading. We plan on using the shared information from this day forward. No longer will traders jump from site to site to take advantage of unfamiliarity. We will use the knowledge shared with other sites to deny membership. Also, we will use this knowledge to keep good traders informed of members who may have troubles on other sites. No longer will the excuse "Well that happened on ...." be acceptable. I am very proud of Grid and leaders of the other websites in this cooperative agreement for coming together to face a problem that all sportscard trading sites suffer from. Keeping our membership safe has always been the number one priority at TR.

I remember a while back Grid brought this up to me and I thought it was a great idea.

WTG Grid and TR and all the other sites that are involved in this.

Now the scammers/crooks don't have a rock to hide under,lol

Thanks for making it safer for all collectors.

Thanks go to Grid and TeamKansas for being apart of this group. This bad traders group is filled pretty much as a who's who in the boards Admin/mods.
Remember information is our biggest allie in fighting to keep this hobby safe and fun for all. As a member of the group let it be known, we do not unjustly rule over members with problems. This is for those who do not live up to their end of ANY agreement here or others.

With that said, please do not post anything on the open boards about any suspected bad traders! If you know of anyone you'd like to report we deal with facts! Nothing else. Please remember that before you report anyone.Just PM the information to Grid, Teamkansas or myself.

Thanks go out to those other sites that have joined forces for the greater good of the hobby!
