Ok I was watching the news(Fox News) and they had the guy on from Vermont who is trying to get the President Impeached..
Clinton was impeached and noone complained but
This guy quoted several reasons for Bush
1.The misinformation of going to war with Iraq
2.The outing of a Cia Agent
3.Most corrupt time in politics(libby, Delay etc)
4.Torture of Prisoners
5.Holding prisoners for no reason for several years
6.Illegal Wire tapping
7.Handling of Natural Disaster(Katrina)
8.Handling of 9/11(and cramming it down our throats) But mainly letting the masterminds family fly out of country when there was a no fly rule and still having not captured him)
and there was about 5 more things
The Democrat on the show said that he didn't believe in impeaching Bush(nor do I). but it should be open for debate
The Republican gave the usual answer he actually said "Your sir are selfish, worried about your own political agenda by going after the president in a time of war. Your selfish attitude is not only harming our troops but putting the country in great risk by giving aid and comfort to our enemies!"
Since WHEN were we NOT allowed to question our goverment? It was us who put them in power and it's us who will vote them out this fall

Have we really sunk to the level where we cannot critize someone without being called selfish

Are we all just supposed to bow down and do what we are told and not speak up when we see something that we think is wrong
I guess my question is when did we lose the freedom to speak out? When anyone does they are UNAMERICAN and putting the country at risk..
So my speaking out is more dangerous then
Letting people come and go across our borders
Inspecting less then 5% of cargo comming into the US
I don't vote in primaries(not allowed I'm an independent

).. I usually only vote in presidential elections may have to make an exception this fall. Sadly I see the same people being reelected, I think we have an attitude that goverment sucks but our guy is ok so we reelect them...
SORRY FOR RANT and if I put anyone in danger by speaking out I'm sorry
