What I like about these is that, as a collector, it is always nice to find your favorite players like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Randy Moss, to name a few. These cards really stand out with the black border with red.
ROOKIES- 5 regular and 2 chrome per pack!
165 young players featured with the NFL Rookie Card Logo.
I have always been a fan of rookie cards and with 165, there is bound to be your favorite upcoming player or rookies from your favorite team.
This year these cards can be identified by the light blue color just inside the black border versus the veterans black border with red just inside. Two chrome rookie cards are also found in each pack of Bowman football. These cards follow in the great tradition of chrome cards previously released by Topps.
AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING PARALLELS:
ORANGE: Numbered* to 250.
What is neat about the orange version is that it stands out from the normal black border cards. These cards are a very nice insert set and allow player collectors to go after their favorite players in a limited number to /250.
BLUE: Numbered* to 500.
Like the orange inserts, these blue ones also stand out in packs. This box contained two blue cards which were fun to pull from the packs.
GOLD: 1 per pack.
Bowman continues to insert one gold card per pack.
These cards have always been a hit with collectors, because they are able to find inserts of their favorite players or at least able to find gold cards that they could trade with their friends.

My Final thoughts on this product
My first thoughts as a collector are "I wonder who the autograph card will be? and "What players will the inserts be?" I can't speak for all collectors, but having grown up collecting cards in the 70's and 80's when there were no inserts, I find myself having more fun today opening packs. My kids helped me open these packs. When they brought the cards to me, they would note if they got an insert or, as my son said when finding the autograph card, "Wow, that is a cool card." Topps throws a touchdown on this product for all ages if it can excite my kids and me. My son wanted to know tonight if he could open more packs.
This box break revealed a great assortment of players and had few, if any, doubles (excepting a gold insert or one of the other great insert cards). This product hits a "Touchdown" on so many levels for collectors, from an autograph card in each box, to the regular and rookie cards, to a nice assortment of inserts. This product will have all types of collectors coming back for more boxes or packs.

I would rate this product an "A" from Topps as it provides a variety of cards that will appeal to many different types of collectors. Jammed full of Rookies, this product is above many other brands of football cards.
