Here's what we pulled in our box of 2008 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Football.

Base and Parallel Cards;

The 2008 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Football logo is in the bottom center of the card. The rest of the bottom of the card contains the rest of the pertinent information we are used to seeing on a card (name-position-number). The cards seem to be of a holofoil type material and have that rainbow effect to them. Very nice design to this set this year! There is a nice short bio on the back of the cards.

The Gridiron Force of Greg Lewis is numbered to /250 and the James Jones SPECTRUM is numbered to /100.

Rookie and Parallel Cards;

The rookie cards are of the exact same design as the base. The rookie designation is on the bottom of the card on both sides of the Playoff Absolute Memorabilia logo. We pulled (2) rookies in our box and they are; Caleb Campbell of the Detroit Lions and Ernie Wheelwright IV. Both are numbered out of /799.

Game-Used Cards;

The (2) game used we pulled are some really sweet patch cards. The first is of rookie Devin Thomas of the Washington Redskins and it is a really sweet (3) colored patch with tons of stitching, numbered to /10. The second is of rookie Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs and is dual patched + football piece card numbered out of /100. Two very sweet rookie patch cards!!!

Autographed Cards;

The autographed cards are just as fantastic as the patch cards. The Rookie Premiere Materials card we pulled is of Rashard Mendenhall of the Pittsburgh Steelers. A nice autographed/jersey card numbered out of /35. Then there was the Steve McNair Canton Absolutes autographed/patch card /10. Very nice (3) colored jersey patch on this card as well.

Final Thoughts on 2008 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Football;

This is the second box of this product I have opened in the last few years. But, this box far surpassed anything I have ever opened in the past. The (4) hits in the box were superior pulls from this product. Based on this break I can only rave about Absolute Memorabilia of 2008. These boxes can usually be had for between $90 and $116 on most sites that I have checked.
