Here's what we pulled in our box of 2008 Donruss Playoff Prestige Football.

Base, Parallel and Insert Cards;

I like the layout, as action shots always go over big with me. The Prestige logo is at the bottom of the card along with the players name, flanked by team helmet logos. The back of the cards has only the players height, weight, born date and drafted status. Stats from 2003 and on are only listed. The parallels and inserts we pulled are listed below.

Rookie, Parallel and Insert Cards;

The rookie cards have the same base design, but are very apparent from the rest of the set with the rookie striping down both sides of the cards. The players are also in their college uniforms. The same short bio as on the base and the stats are from 2004 and on through 2007. We pulled alot of rookies in our box...here's how it broke down.

Game-Used Cards (3) In This Box (1) is a multi-player;

The game-used we pulled are of Calais Campbell of the Miami Hurricanes, Brian Westbrook of the Philadelphia Eagles and a quad game-used of Brady, Romo, Roethlisberger and P. Manning /250. Nice design on the quad game-used piece!

Autographed Card;

The autograph we pulled is of Matt Forte of Tulane who was drafted by the Chicago Bears. Outstanding numbers in 2007 for Forte with 2,127 yards and 23 TDs to go along with a 5.9 yards per carry. Should be a nice addition to the Chicago Bears.

Final Thoughts on 2008 Donruss Playoff Prestige Football;

2008 Donruss Playoff Prestige Football is starting to win me over as a very nice high-quality mid-range product. The (37) rookie cards of one fashion or another is a very BIG selling point here. Also, the fact that you are going to get numerous parallels makes this a good value in my opinion. These boxes can usually be had for between $69 and $82 on most sites that I have checked. If you can get them at the low end it's a good buy! This is a real good rookie card box to buy. The card design allows for these to be great cards for TTM/IP auto seekers as well.
