Default 2007 Topps Co-Signers Football

2007 Topps Co-Signers Football

2007 Topps Co-Signers Football...another great product from Topps with (2) autographs per box. Easily, one of the most anticipated releases from Topps of the year. Great design usually accompanies this superb release every year. EVERY BOX CONTAINS; One Autographed Co-Signer Card, One Autographed Rookie Card, 3 Rookie Sequentially Numbered Cards and 10 Low Numbered Parallel Cards!

Set Features;

Each sealed box contains 12 packs of 6 cards each in a 100 card base set including 50 Rookies 1:3 (#`d to 1999). >>> Each box contains THREE Autograph cards (including one dual autograph card). Parallel set: Changing Faces (9 variations > #`d to 349, 299, 199, 150, 99, 75, 50, 25, and 1) and Framed Printing Plates (each is a 1-of-1). Inserts: Autograph cards (Rookie 1:12, Gold > #`d to 50, Hyper Silver > #`d to 25, Hyper Gold > each is a 1-of-1; Dual 1:12, Gold > #`d to 10, Hyper Silver > #`d to 5, Hyper Gold > each is a 1-of-1; Rookie Dual 1:288, Gold > #`d to 50, Hyper Silver > #`d to 25, Hyper Gold > each is a 1-of-1; Triple 1:288, Gold > #`d to 10, Hyper Silver > #`d to 5, Hyper Gold > each is a 1-of-1; Dual Cut > each is a 1-of-1).

Here's what we pulled in our box of 2007 Topps Co-Signers Football.

Base Cards;

  • (1) Changing Faces /75.....Larry Johnson / Marcus Allen
  • (1) Changing Faces /99.....Jerry Rice / Frank Gore
  • (1) Changing Faces /150....Tom Brady /Steve Breaston
  • (1) Changing Faces /249....Marvin Harrison / Joseph Addai
  • (1) Changing Faces /349....Carson Palmer / Chad Johnson
  • (2) Changing Faces /399....Steven Jackson, Frank Gore

The Topps Co-Signers logo is in the upper left hand corner, the players name is down at the bottom and the top of the card has the players team. There is also a real nice facsimile auto on the front of the card as well. The back of the card has a condensed bio at the top and the players last two years stats are at the bottom. The old-timers (Legends) are of the same design, but the stats show the NFL career stats.

Rookie Cards;

The rookie cards are of the exact same design as the base. The RC designation is in the upper center and looks good there on most of the cards. We pulled some nice rookies in our box. Here's a list of the rookies we pulled from our box;
  • (4) Regular Rookies
  • (1) Changing Faces /249....Davis Clowney / Brandon Jackson
  • (1) Changing Faces /349....Brady Quinn / JaMarcus Russell
  • (1) Changing Faces /399....Patrick Willis / Luke Getsy

Autograph Cards;

The autographed rookie card we pulled is of Chris Henry of the Tennessee Titans. I have seen him play a few games and he does look like a quality back. The dual we pulled is of the "Jones" boys! Julius Jones of the Dallas Cowboys and Thomas Jones of the New York Jets. On the back it states; "Julius and Thomas made NFL history in 2006, when they became the first set of brothers each to rush for 1,000 yards in the same season. The duo almost pulled off the feat the previous year as well, when Julius came up just seven yards shy of a grand".

Final Thoughts on 2007 Topps Co-Signers Football;

I really like the look of 2007 Co-Signers Football this year! The way they included some of the games legends in the base set is phenomenal and was a very interesting part of this break. The guaranteed three autographs area a big selling point for this product as autographs are why a lot of people purchase these boxes. Especially if you can pull a card of a player or team you follow. These boxes can usually be had for between $66 and $80 on most sites that I have checked.

Favorite Card;

It has to be the Jones brothers dual auto! What an accomplishment for two brothers to have, it may never be done again!

Here's how I would rate this product;
  • Value = 5
  • Innovation = 4
  • Fun and Experience = 5
  • Rebuy Value = 4

I rate this product an "A" for Topps! There is definitely value to be had in these boxes.

I would like to thank Clay from Topps and Trader Retreat for giving me the chance to review this new product. Cards from this break will be added to the Prize Gallery and be available for prizes for contests in the near future.
