Here's what we pulled in our box of 2011 Topps Finest Football.

Base and Parallel Cards;

Topps Finest Football is always a yearly favorite of mine. The design is flawless, as it is simple, but the Finest chromium cards are always one of the greatest releases in every sport. The blend of refractors within the packs is always something I look forward to.

The parallels we pulled are;
  • (3) Refractors not numbered
  • (2) Xfractors /399
  • (1) Gold Refractor /50
  • (1) Red Refractor /25

Rookie and Parallel Cards;

The rookies are the same as the base except they have that rookie logo in the upper left hand corner. Except for the Atomic Rookies, the RC logo is in the lower right hand corner. We pulled 17 rookie cards of one fashion or another in this box. If you count all of the rookies and refractors we pulled from this box, you actually get around 24 hits per hobby box.

The rookie pulls include;
  • (10) Regular rookies
  • (2) Finest Moment rookies
  • (1) Refractor rookie
  • (2) Autograph /patch rookies
  • (2) Atomic rookies

Autographed Cards;

2011 Topps Finest Football has (2) guaranteed autographed patch cards per hobby box. We hit the odds right on the head with our (2) auto patch pulls. The two autographed patch cards are of Kendall Hunter of the 49ers /589 and Vincent Brown of the Chargers /599. Both of the autographs are nicely center on the stickers and are high-quality autographed cards.

The patch on the Brown is insane...four color breaks and the patch is almost all stitching. This is what patch cards should look like in all products.

Final Thoughts on 2011 Topps Finest Football;

If you are the fan of Topps Finest, then this box won't dissapoint, and this could be the box for you. Two guaranteed autographed patch rookie cards are a real plus in every hobby box. This is a fun box to open, as you have some type of hit in every pack you rip. Recent sales of these boxes range between $84 and $104 on most sites I have checked for this review. (24) hits per hobby box if you include all of the refractors and all rookie variations. The $84 price point is a great value for these boxes if you can find it.

The patch we pulled of Vincent Brown is a great way to promote this product. The numbering is a little high on the rookie autos. I think the patch cards should be numbered a little lower than 599.

Here's how I would rate this product;
  • Value = 5
  • Innovation = 5
  • Fun and Experience = 5
  • Rebuy Value = 4
I rate this product a "A" for Topps!

Nice review. I think the cards have a neat design. The patch auto is great. The atomic die-cuts are my favorite insert of this set.
