Here's what we pulled in our box of 2011 Press Pass Legends Football.
Base Cards / Parallels / Inserts;
In my opinion this is a superb design. One of the best Press Pass has done in football to date. The front simply has the Product logo and the players name. I have seen the gridiron effect on many designs, but this one is the winner. The back has a very short information section regarding the players history in the college game and special accomplishments. The rookies have a nice stats section for their time in college. It also has the players years in college on the legends...Marino states 1979 - 1982.
The mix of legends, rookies, inserts and parallels is great. There were (26) legends in this box and that was about the perfect amount. Here is the breakdown of the inserts and parallels;
- (2) Bronze /250 parallels - Jones - Dalton
- (3) Silver /175 parallels - McDaniel - Locker - Ridley
- (1) Gold /99 parallel - Dalton
- (3) Legends of the fall - Sapp - Griese - Carter
- (3) All American - Fairley - Todman - Nevis

Relic Cards;

It's nice to see a manufacture listen and get this right. If you are going to have a limited patch edition in the set, make it at least a two-colored sweet patch. Also, make it game worn (which this is) and not event worn. A premium swatch should be just that; and this pull did not dissapoint. A real nice two-colored patch with stitching of Niles Paul, numbered out of /99.

The autographed cards we pulled are all of high-quality. The (5) autographs promised were delivered in this box break. All autographs are oncard which is getting to be the most desirable in most collecting circles.
The rookie players Saturday Signatures we pulled are Aldon Smith out of Missouri (red) /99, DeMarco Murray out of Oklahoma /99 and Cam Newton out of Auburn. The Newton is a redemption. The Legends Of The Fall we pulled are of Tony Rice and Steve Young. All autographs are of superb quality.

Final Thoughts on 2011 Press Pass Legends Football;
2011 Press Pass Legends Football received a 5 in every category on our ratings list. The (6) guaranteed hits per box make it a very solid product, deserving of the ratings. The oncard autographs were another large plus for this product as well.
Again, I love the design concept on these. The glossy cardboard with the raised silver accents really makes it a standout 2011 football release.
In most breaks I state what would have made them better in my humble opinion. There is nothing more that Press Pass can do on this product. If you don't get the hot rookie autographs, that's the luck of the draw on all product. But, you have more chances to hit them with this product.
These boxes can usually be had for between $87 and $129 on most sites that I have checked. The $87 was on ebay and was a great buy at that price point.
Here's how I would rate this product, based on what we experienced during our break;
- Value = 5
- Innovation = 5
- Fun and Experience = 5
- Rebuy Value = 5
I rate this product a solid "A+" for Press Pass!
