Here's what we pulled in our box of 2009 Topps Triple Threads Football.
Base and Insert Cards;
The 2009 Topps Triple Threads Football logo is in the bottom center of the cards, along with the players name and card numbering. The players team is real faint on the top behind the player. While the player does pop off of the card with the design concept, it just seems a little flat to me. A nice bio on the back along with 2008 stat line and total career stats complement the Triple take section. Triple take is an interesting tidbit of the players information that you may not know.
The base and parallels we pulled are;

Game-Used Card;
In this box we pulled a real nice GOLD Clinton Portis triple threads patch numberered 4/5. Was definitely one the Broncos wish never got away. This card is crafted superbly and the patches are equally superb.The first two patches are outstanding as they are red and white and the third has some stitching too. Great card for any Portis or redskins fan indeed.
Printing Plate Card;
Ahoy there maties...it's always nice to haul in a WHITE WHALE once in a awhile. This pull did not dissapoint as it's a Tony Romo white whale printing plate. It isn't numbered 1/1 it just says *WHITE WHALE*. We all know what that means!
Autographed Card;
Our 2009 Topps Triple Threads autographed card was a real quality pull of a real nice Steelers rookie in Mike Wallace. The card is numbered /70 and is denoted as a rookie card right above the numbering on the right hand side. Same information on the back as the base cards have, except college stats of course.
Final Thoughts on 2009 Topps Triple Threads Football;
Topps Triple Threads are a hit every year and it doesn't matter which release of sport it is. This box was above expectations as far as guaranteed pulls, because we pulled the Tony Romo *WHITE WHALE* which is an added value for the box. This is one of the first plates I have personally pulled from this product. We didn't pull a big name rookie, but we did pull some nice valued cards in my opinion.
These boxes can usually be had for between $139 and $179 on most sites that I have checked. The low end is a sweet value for the box.
