What i pulled
base cards
I decided to use these 2 base cards to give you an idea of the different sports included.
You can see the front of the card in the scan. The back of the card has a smaller circular photo
of the player. The same photo is used on the front & back. There is interesting graphics on the back as well
as a silhouette of the player playing his sport. In the center of the back is the players name & a player bio on about a 30 degree angle
Inserts
The Collegiate Connection shows 2 greats in their respective sports form the same college.
The photos on the front are the same black & white photos on the back, same size & all.
The back has a short bio on the stars listed.
Renowed Rivals has 2 players form the same sport in this case its wresting
Again the same photos are used on the front & back with the players names.
The back of this one is a bit more interesting, as it also contains a grayed out photo of a wresting mat.
Classic Champions shows a player from a successful college championship program
This is the first time in an insert that has color photo on the back.
again it is the same photo as on the front , with a short bio of the player with what resembles a basketball imbedded in the graphics.
Parallels
I pulled 2 bronze & 1 silver parallel
The only differences are the color of the ink & the foil stamping
The bronze are numbered to 150, the silver is numbered to 99
Autos/GU

I pulled no GU
I did pull an auto of Randy Couture, a green variation numbered 06/50, & a Darren Collison gold auto
numbered 128/198
The back of the autos had the usual certification by Press pass
The autos were signed on card, always a plus
I give Press Pass a B+ for this set
Overall, I really enjoyed the break, It had me anticipating what card or sport what i might see next.
I wish there were more packs per box,
I only pulled 30 base cards from the set
It was a fun box with excellent graphics & use of color
I hope everyone has as much fun breaking a box of Fusion as i did
