Cabinet Box Loader:
The cabinet cards are enlarged versions of the players base card with an additional gold border around the edges.
We pulled: Steve Smith (Panthers)
Base Cards:
The base card design is crisp with nice portrait-style depictions of the players, politicians, etc. The base cards are of regular thickness with a gold border around the portrait. The back is gold and has player statistics or information about that person’s contribution to American history. There is a good variety in the packs. We pulled 117 base cards with no duplicates.
Silver Parallels:
The silver parallels look like the base cards, but are thicker and have a silver border and back instead of gold.

Memorabilia Card
While one might expect to pull a game-used card, the stamps are an interesting twist that has been explored by companies recently and should give some appeal to non-sports-card collectors.

The framed mini with a sticker auto and small version of the portrait featured on the player’s card makes a nice sharp design.

Final Thoughts on 09 Topps Mayo Cut Plug Football
I wasn’t too much of a fan of last year’s Mayo football, but this year with all the new additions and innovations I am a fan! This was a fun product to open, you don’t know what to expect with all of the possibilities. It is also enticing to the non-sports collectors and history buffs. The art and design of the cards was done well. I’m sure it presents a challenge for set collectors. The only thing I didn’t like about the product is how difficult it is to open the packs.
