Here's what we pulled in our box of 2009 Donruss Elite Football.
The 2009 Donruss Elite Football logo is in the top center of the card. The cards have that same holofoil material that this set always has and it looks great. There is a nice short bio on the back of the cards. Also, the career totals for the player are listed along with a highlight area from the 2008 season. The Addai states how he tore up the Texans in both games they played in 2008 and the Colts went 2-0 in those ganes.
The two players pictured should have break out seasons or great comeback seasons in 2009. I had to show the first card I saw of the previous Chad Johnson who is now Chad Ocho Cinco legally.

Rookie and Insert Cards;
The rookie cards are of the exact same design as the base. The rookie designation is on the top of the card on both sides of the 2009 Donruss Elite logo. We pulled (3) regular rookies in our box and they are; Michael Crabtree, Cameron Morrah and Bear Pascoe. All of them are #d to /999. The Hakeem Nicks is a GOLD Status and #d to /24. The (2) College Ties inserts are of Malcolm Jenkins and Chris Wells #d to /899 and Rashad Jennings #d to /199.
Game-Used Cards;
The (2) game used we pulled are of two of the best players in the NFL. The first is of LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers and one of the best backs in the league numbered to /299. The second is of Anquan Boldin of the Arizona Cardinals and numbered out of /299. Almost looks like a two colored patch, but the jersey piece is just off-cut.
Autographed Cards;
The autographed card is of Mohamed Massaquoi of the Cleveland Browns by way of Georgia. The autograph is clean and complete w/o any bubbling. This is a turn of the century rookie card autograph numbered to /200.
Final Thoughts on 2009 Donruss Elite Football;
This is the second box of this product I have opened in the last few years. It is a high-quality product with a medium price tag. These boxes can usually be had for between $75 and $88 on most sites that I have checked. I would have liked to have seen two autographs in this box and it would have been a great value. Or, the plain jersey pieces could have been patches and it would of had more value as well.

I rate this product an "B" for Panini America Inc.! There is value to be had in these boxes with a little luck.
