2007 Donruss Classics Error Cards
Anyone heard anything about error cards from Classics? I opened a couple of packs and about half the base cards were errors. Just wondering if error cards were common in this years release.

Well I have a Manning with the name Plaxico Burress on the front, picture and back are Manning; same thing on a Roethlisberger w/K. Jones name; E. James pic/Clayton name; D. Jackson pic/B. Edwards name; Grossman pic/Gradkowski name; J. Campbell pic/ L. Evans name; and Addai pic/L. Coles name.

Serious problem with the foil machine. I saw a Gary Russell School Colors with no foil on the front whatsoever - they need to check their quality control.

If you bought Playoff Prestige, the chipping on the cards was awful, almost all of my rookies are worthless, roughly 2 1/2 boxes and most of the rookies had chipping. For the amount we spend, it is pathetic the quality. I wish the companies would take there time and put out better products. Remember when the cards looked nice, and had the team that drafted the player on the card as well?

theres usually a decent amount of errors on these early releases, cause the companies want to get their cards out before anyone else does...
hopefully there will be less in the upcoming months

Yeah, the Prestige was HORRIBLE. I still haven't found any Steelers rookies without chunks missing. Be a good investment - Prestige rookies that AREN'T chipped to there and back.
And it's not errors - it's factory defects and poor quality of inks and paper. There is NO excuse for a company that has been around this long to be pumping out defective merchandise like that. Stephen Last edited by stephenheger : 08-16-2007 at 10:31 PM. Reason: To add more... |
