Elusive (for me) Kordell auto and also an SP Authentic #'d to 250. The bottom right is one of those 1997 Movi-Motion cards of Bettis that I was wondering what it would look like scanned. Yep. About as bad as I imagined.
Got my stuff in from D&A Cardworld after a debacle.
I have the time to tell it - do you have the time to listen?
Ahem.
I ordered the cards and waited. D&A are usually fast so I emailed and they said it was delivered. I never saw it. So we contacted UPS and they said they would check into it. I was really bummed. Seems someone put a wrong address on it and it was shipped elsewhere - but in my vicinity. I talked to UPS and they, again, said they would check into it. $50 is $50 so I called the next day and said 'well?' 'We're not resposible because we delivered it to the address on the package.' Well, I said screw it and found where the package was delivered to and a week and a half later it was still sitting on the porch of the house. I live in Portland and the fact it didn't rain and saturate and destroy these is almost unheard of. Anyway, I knocked on the door - ID ready - and said it was my package. The person said oh, I was wondering who's that was. I guess it never occurred to her to call UPS and say I didn't live there.
Anyway, I got well over half of the 1971 Topps posters out of that, a bunch of 1975's (down to 10!) and a bunch of mid 90's Steelers inserts and parallels.
Wow. This is a long message.
Thanks for reading.
Stephen
