Players prefer it, so grass it is at Heinz Field, 02/12/2008
After much discussion and reviewing the options available, the Steelers decided that the playing surface at Heinz Field will remain natural grass.
One of the key factors in the decision was that the Steelers players preferred playing on grass over any type of artificial turf.
“Our players and coaches, and the whole staff here, everybody had a chance to participate in the discussion and everyone was in favor of sticking with the grass,” said Steelers president Art Rooney, II.

Steelers sign linebacker Fox,03/12/2008
The Steelers added depth to their linebacker and special teams corps Wednesday as they signed free agent linebacker Keyaron Fox to a one-year contract. He played the last four years for the K.C. Chiefs. He will be a back up player. Best year was in 2006.

that schedule is a joke.. they are ratings draw so that explains the 11 prime time or late games but come on they have the toughest schedule by a mile..
