FS: 2000 Donruss All-Time Gridiron Kings auto set

I'm needing to get some money together for real life expenses. As my first effort towards this, I'm selling my complete set of 2000 Donruss All-Time Gridiron Kings autographs. The set consists of nine autographs, all on card, and all numbered to 250. The book value is $680. I'm asking about 2/3 of book value, $460 delivered. The autographs in the set are: Sammy Baugh, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Bob Griese, Kenny Stabler, Fran Tarkenton, Lawrence Taylor, and Eric Dickerson. Beautiful set. I hate to sell it but life beckons.

I plan on selling off most of my collection over the next weeks, so if you feel like checking out my webpage and making offers, please go ahead! I've got very nice stuff in all the sports.

sorry to hear you have to sell for expenses...nope nothing serious....
thats a great set, if you happen to sell individual cards, id be interested in the Baugh..

Thanks for the replies. I'll figure out some selling prices this weekend for the cards you mentioned. Moonpie, I prefer not to break up the set right now and am likely to ebay it if I don't move it as a set. Thanks for the kind words. I guess serious is in the eye of the beholder - it's serious enough that I have to move out my collection though...

Hope things work out for ya in selling your cards Rob. I had to move a major portion of my Musial autos a while back and can certianly understand when cards take a "back seat" to real life.

You've got some fantastic cards there, and I'm sure they'll bring joy to anyone that is lucky enough to aquire them.

I'd like to take this time to thank you for all the work you've done here in the hobby. You've helped many a trader in the past with your presence. I'm also hoping this situation doesn't keep you away from the trade boards!
