ok since it doesnt book yet i was curious to know what the book is on this
2006 playoff contenders marques colston
i know ebay is a bad way to get your ideal price but on there they range from 150 all the way up to 300! some say he's an sp some say he's not so i was just kind of hopin to get a steady footing on what to ask for this card any opinion is welcomed as im not lookin to argue jsut lookin for a average

Alex I would wait and see bv or sell it. If you are looking to trade it though, only way to be truely sure of what it will book at and if it is a sp is to wait on a price for it. I traded a sp off last year or the year before, (cant remember with my old age) for cheap and it came out as a low sp and sold for a crapload after that.

i appriciate it don, i just had a lot of people asking if i was willing to trade and i was just not sure what to put on it, but i think ill hold on to it

it is bound to be colstons best autograph so far. I have not seen the colston from sp authentic though. I would estimate the book value of the card at 150 225 We know that from the amount of colstons you see on the secondary market vs the amount of other marquee players that the colston is probably not a short print.

I would hold it till there is a BV. Back in1990 when I was just a rookie at collecting I opened some Topps. Pulled the Frank Thomas Error. The guy at the shop said its an mistake made during printing. So I figured it was garbage, ripped it up and tossed it away. Yes Im still kicking myself LOL
