Best pull:
I'll go with the Parker auto, since the veterans are only 1 per case and it's an overall sweet looking card!
Overall thoughts:
Topps Chrome is having another great year, I have seen lots of people breaking boxes and the product is a good value guaranteeing 1 auto per box for a reasonable price. I beat the odds with a nice crop of rookies and refractors (including two numbered), and got no dupes in the base set which is always good to see. The rookie variations every year are always a cool feature to me, and the 96-97 Chrome throwback variations are a nice twist. I liked seeing the veteran cards, with good action shots.
I admit am a little disappointed with the Smush Parker auto; nothing personal against him, but two reasons... A) Parker is the only player in Group C, the lowest group of veteran autos, and is a big step down from the rest of the crop - at 1 per case you'd hope they would stock it with a better checklist... B) they state 1 rookie autograph per box but do not state that the veterans replace the rookies, which I can only describe as confusing at best. However, as I stated earlier, it is a sweet looking card!

I also hope to see Topps bring back the white border next year, as these look a bit too much like Bowman Chrome cards.
With this box I believe I got an "average" break with all factors balanced together, and was still very pleased. With that in mind, I give the product an
A for value, innovation, and overall pulls. Thanks a million to the folks at Topps for providing the box, and to the TR network for the chance to review it!
