Flip Saunders fired
With the Wings in the Stanley Cup finals this is sorta back page news but Flip Saunders was fired a couple of days ago as was to be expected. Funniest thing I heard was a caller call into a radio station and say that Flip should have had been kept as a coach since he finally got KG into the finals
 At any rate I'd love to see the Pistons go after Avery Johnson but looks like they will lean towards former Pistons player Michael Curry who was also an asst coach under Saunders. more from freep.com Pistons coach fired; Michael Curry next? | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press
