Jazz deal Giricek to 76ers for Korver
December 29, 2007 PHILADELPHIA (TICKER) -- Gordan Giricek will not have to deal with Jerry Sloan anymore. The Utah Jazz finally parted ways with Giricek on Saturday, trading the disgruntled guard to the Philadelphia 76ers for guard Kyle Korver. Philadelphia also received a protected first-round draft selection in the deal, which signalled the end of Giricek's rocky tenure with the Jazz.

a good trade both ways but I would have to think atleast for now the Jazz got the better end of the trade...I will be interested to see how the 76ers do with the pick. Kyle like stated above is a very streaky shooter....

I Definitely think this was a good move for both teams. Korver will be a big asset off the bench. Although the sixers got a bad seed in giricek, they are rebuilding and needed the draft pick.
