Default WOW!! Portland Wins Lottery!!

What a shock!! Portland wins the lottery and Seattle gets the 2nd pick. Portland had a 5.3% chance of winning and Seattle had a 8.8% chance.. Can't believe Memphis and Boston are drafting 4th and 5th.. Gotta think that this is somewhat bad for the NBA since Oden and Durant will be going to Portland and Seattle.

I was hoping the Bucks would get the top pick as well.Would have been the perfect fit for Oden.Oh well,at least it was not Memphis. That franchise is a disaster.

Not sure if Seattle will stay at 2.They really dont need Durant.Maybe they try to swap picks with Portland.Dont think the Blazers would do it,but then again they did draft Sam Bowie and traded Jermaine O'Neal for practically nothing

How about Boston? I didn't really care other then Chicago not getting it via NY. I have sorta liked the NBA doing this lottery draft for some time now---it puts a little spark into it and prevents teams from laying down 3/4 of the way through the season.

collector181: I think they definetely take Oden.. heard the GM on ESPNEWS say that they will take best player avaliable, which of course is Oden.

halfelf68: Wow, calm down.. First of all, how does O'Neal "take their money" ? All I'm saying is that Portland is not that prominent a franchise currently and they also currently hold a bad reputation..In terms of popularity, if Oden went to a bigger city, the NBA would benefit alot more.. Also, If I were you, I'd think a bit before I post.

The only problem I have with the current Blazers team is Darius Miles. They have a good young team but they need to send him and his dont-care attitude packing before Oden gets there. With Oden and Roy,the Blazers should be a heck of a team for the next decade

if i remember right they had to give him close to max $$$ and he's not worth it,and when the jailblazers where in the western finals against the lakers they had to give away tickets at the garden because nobody here backed them,we have allways had an outstanding rep with our players here and paul allen finally figured out we would not back a bunch of punks no matter how good they are,as far as "bigger city"the blazers are the only game in the state, check your map we're not one of your little east coast states, maybe bring up a.i., t.o.,m.irvin's neck, you booed santa?nice rep.you guys got in philly.
