Shaq to Boston... Why?
I'm a Celtics fan, but I don't really like the idea of Shaq coming to Boston. He was a great player and all, but at this point I don't see how he can be of much help to the team. What are your thoughts?

I guess they felt desperate after Kendrick Perkins' injury in the Finals, so they will use Shaq as backup insurance so to speak. As long as they don't play him much more than 20 minutes most nights, he might help somewhat, but I don't see this addition as one that puts them back in title contention again - too many other teams have added more important pieces. I see the Celts being competitive again but don't see them putting together another playoff run like they just had.

he is a insurance policy and can give other teams match up problems....biggest downfall...Boston can't use him much during the regular season or they risk injury...he obv. does not have the skills he once did.
My biggest fear...The Celtics will rub off on his signing habits
