Los Angeles Lakers Sign Ron Artest

The Los Angeles Lakers will sign Ron Artest to a 3 year $18 million contract. Artest played for the Houston Rockets last season. This signing basically ends Trevor Ariza's stint with the Lakers.

Artest is now a Laker. He chose to sign a 5 year $33 contract instead of the reported 3 year $18 million contract.

Even though a lot of people think he will be a big problem i'd say he's a good addition and it'll work out well...
