Final Thoughts on 2008 Topps Series 2 Baseball;
Well I will admit, when I was told what product I was going to be reviewing, I thought to myself "Great... another boring Topps set". Well boy was I wrong & suprised big time! This years base cards look fantastic with the white border design. The Black & Gold Border parallels arent plain colors like other years past. This year they seem to have more of a sparkle to them, whick makes the card photo stand out more. The Topps Stars inserts kind of look like refractors, just without all the crome and should look nice with autos on them

I was exremely pleased to pull not only a game used, but a rc auto redemption, and 1/1 plate AND a stadium Patch in the same box.

Speaking of the Stadium Patch. I honeslty think it is the most beautiful card Topps has put in thier basic Topps product. The patch isnt an "Offical Game Worn" Patch, but with the darker background design, the patch seems to jump out more.

There is only ONE (1) thing wrong with this product.... the gold foil parallels. They should've marked them. If you are going through these somewhat quick, you will miss them. You need to actually take your time to look for them. Next time, I believe Topps should mark them somehow. Such as "#123G" or "G-123".

So with a SRP of around $40.00, I would recoomend this set to everyone. And if you do bust any, send the Shea Stadium Patches to me
