Final Thoughts on 2008 Topps Opening Day Baseball;
Topps did an excellent job on this product! I love the base cards. The red back maked the gold lettering really stand out. The White border parallel is a nice added touch. It gives set builders a chance to put together a numbered set without taking a big hit to the wallet. I also like the new flapper cards, but the only problem with them is it you touch them wrong, the start to open and bend.
The only thing I don't like about this product is the autograph insert ratio. In my opinion, a printing plate should be harder to pull then an auto.
Here's how I would rate this product;
- Value = 3
- Innovation = 4
- Fun and Experience = 5
- Rebuy Value = 3
I rate this product an "A" for Topps!
