Here's what we pulled in our box of 2008 Topps Moments and Milestones Baseball.
Base and Parallel Cards;

The Topps logo is at the top center of the cards along with the Moments and milestones text. The base set is numbered to /150 and the parallels we pulled are numbered to either /25, /10 or /1. This set is quite unique as it boasts the players accomplishments during their peak year where they set their personal or MLB professional records. For instance the Pedro Martinez catalogs the accomplishments in strikeouts for the year 1999. They show a picture of strikeout # 281 but also show he had 313 for the year.
Below is a listing of parallels we pulled from our box.
- (12) /25
- (4) /10
- (1) 1/1 is of Trevor Hoffman
Rookie Cards;

The rookie cards have their own unique design and it's very easy to distinguish the rookies from the regular base set cards. The rookie designation is at the top on the right or left hand side depending on the card layout. At the bottom of the card it states rookie 2008 American Or National League and the players name rounds the card out. The Paulino is numbered to /25 and the Balentien is numbered /10.
Autographed Cards (2) Per Box;

The autographed cards we pulled are nice high-quality autographs. The autographs are sticker, but overall they work very well with the design concept. They are of Joe Koshanky of the Colorado Rockies and Steve Pearce of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Both autographs are clean and complete without any bubbling or breaks. The autographs aren't numbered; would have liked to have seen them numbered as well.
Final Thoughts on 2008 Topps Moments and Milestones Baseball;
This is another hit for Topps in the mid-range market. The /150 or white versions would be great cards to get if you were a TTM (through-the-mail) or IP (in-person) autograph seeker. The (2) autographs guaranteed per box is a great selling feature of this box. It was nice to pull a Trevor Hoffman Red 1/1. These boxes can usually be had for between $62 and $89 on most sites that I have checked. If you can get them at the low end it's a great buy!
Here's how I would rate this product;
- Value = 5
- Innovation = 5
- Fun and Experience = 5
- Rebuy Value = 4.5
I rate this product an "A" for Topps! It's nice to see these low to mid range boxes contain two autographed cards.
