The allure of possibly pulling a Presidential cut autograph had me going, yes the odds were against me but someone will pull 1 but it wasn't me this time.
If you are a set collector then this is a box you have to get, I pulled 225 of the 330 base cards with a good amount of Rookies and with the doubles I could easily complete the base set and just about every pack had at least 1 insert and some even had 2!
I love the clean player photographs (just like always with Topps cards) the new lettering design is easier to read also love having all the stats of each player on the back.
My favorite card would have to be in fact 2 cards,the 2008 Topps Rudolph W. Giuliani card and the one without Rudy on it ( it is nice seeing the 2 cards side-by-side).
I give 2008 Topps Series 1 baseball an A- and the only reason I gave it an A- is because I would have loved to pull an Auto or Game Used but set collectors will love 2008 Topps Baseball and the price is with in the range to get your children collecting (about $49.00 for a box of 36 packs,10 cards per pack)
