Here's what I pulled in our box of 2007 Bowman Chrome Baseball.

Base Card, Rookie Card and Parallels

The base cards have a black border and either red border for veterans or green border for rookies. We received 23/190 veteran regular issue cards and 6/30 rookie cards. The refractor versions are as nice as ever, the contrasting glow they give when next to the regular issue cards is awesome. We received one rookie refractor, 3 regular refractors and one xfractor.

Inserts and Insert Parallel cards.

Each pack has two Bowman Chrome Prospects insert cards, we received 34 regular prospects insert cards. We also pulled one Prospects Refractor card and one Autographed Prospect card.

Will Venable Autographed Prospect Card

Our autographed card is of Will Venable, a young prospect in the Padres organization.

2007 Bowman Chrome Baseball continues the Alex Rodriguez road to 500 homerun cards parallel set. These sets can be found in many Topps and Bowman products. We pulled homerun number 290 of the set. A very nice tribute to one of the games great young players.

Final Thoughts on 2007 Bowman Baseball;

This is a real nice product with great potential for both the baseball collector and the rookie investor. These boxes can usually be had for between $60 and $75 on most sites that I have checked. This will be a difficult set to put together, pulling only 23 of the 190 regular issue cards, although we did pull 6/30 rookies which was very nice. It was also nice to pull an autograph, of which there are many top prospects in the set. This box still has value for the potential of the prospects cards in the set. The base set looks sharp and yet again, refractor parallels have hit another home run.

I rate this product an "A-" for Topps! I would have liked more rookies and even regular issue cards in the box instead of all of the minor league prospects.
