Here's what I pulled in our box of 2011 Bowman Chrome Baseball.
Base Cards and Parallels;
I like the base card design. It is simple and clean. I thought they had nice variety of action shots as well that included some atypical ones like a pitcher batting. I would give Topps Chrome a slight edge in design but this is a close second.
Rookie Cards and Parallels;
The rookies have same design as the base cards but with the addition of the Bowman Chrome Prospects as well. We also received a nice blue refractor of Danny Duffy that is numbered out of /150.
We received three varieties of inserts in the box. The first was the Bowman's Best insert of Jason Kipnis. It definitely rpelicates the same look and feel as they did way back in the 1990's. Another type of insert was the Bowman Chrome Throwbacks. We recieved both Chipper Jones and Ichiro. The final inserts we opened were the 2021 Bowman Chrome Futures. These were definitely my favorite pull of the whole box. We received a Jean Segura and Bryce Harper!
Hits;
Each box contains one on card autograph from the Bowman Chrome Prospects sub-set. We pulled an Adonis Cardona auto. I like the crispness of the blue ink on the primarily white background.
Final Thoughts on 2011 Bowman Chrome Baseball;
I was very pleased with our box of Bowman Chrome. Great looking base cards with fun paralells. The inserts were great as well with the Throwbacks, Bowman's Best and most especially the 2021 cards. The Bryce Harper was an exceptionally cool one to get. Also for getting a guarenteed on card auto I feel the asking price is very fair ($50-60 a box).
